Fish

Here in New Mexico we are fortunate to have so many different streams, rivers and lakes but I have NEVER had the opportunity to fish for Brook Trout.  This particular DISC-IT Design comes from a daughter who was ordering for Father’s Day.Her dad’s favorite fish is the Brook Trout. Per her request, we brought the Brook Trout to life in the DISC-IT and she was able to present her dad with the ultimate Father’s Day Gift – a Brook Trout DISC-IT!

The Crawfish design was requested by none other than a customer in Louisiana.

It is so much fun to get a new request for something that we are not totally familiar with.  Luckily this customer was able to e-mail several different pictures of crawfish for us to use during our design process.  The crawfish DISC-IT design is regularly shipped to Florida, Louisiana, South Eastern Texas, Alabama and Missisippi.  Oddly enough, it has been popular in the Mid West as well.  This design has also been very popular in our Junior and Table Top DISC-IT as well (see the DISC-IT Table Top and DISC-IT Junior sections of the web –site)

One of the great benefits in building custom DISC-ITs is the fact that we get to learn quite a bit.I know a little bit about some fish such as trout, catfish and bass, but when a Grouper fish was requested by a customer in Florida, I needed some help.  Our customer was kind enough to send me some images and teach us a bitabout the Grouper Fish.
