The Chili Ristra is a very popular southwestern staple however many people think of the Ristra as art and not food.
The Ristra is another method of harvesting chili. After Green chili is harvested, some of it is strung up to dry.
Once completely dry, dry red chili is pulled from the Ristra, seeds removed and the chili skins are boiled and blended to make the best of Red Chili.
For generations Ristras have served as an awesome food, handing ornaments and now, thanks to the DISC-IT Grill, an artistic method to cook on!
